Well I'm off to Chum Creek Wildlife Shelter today. Nationwide have loaned us a tilt tray, yet again. This time my son, Jeremy and I are picking up 24 concrete pipes from ROCLA in Campbellfield. 12 of these will be dropped off at Plenty Gorge Wildlife Shelter and 12 at Chum Creek. Volunteers will then collect pipes and deliver them to nearby shelters. These pipes are 2.4 metres long by 45 cm diameter, they will be placed in wombat enclosures to provide shelter. This donation is greatly appreciated and has been arranged by Marcel from Wildlife Bushfire Appeal. http://www..org.au/organisations/Shelters/VIC_ChumCreek/images/Mountain_Views_Mail_90310.jpg Our thanks also to Brent from Rocla. http://www.rocla.com.au/# Thanks to Nationwide without whom delivery would not have been possible. http://www.134tow.com.au/VictorianBushfires2009/tabid/99/Default.aspx Cheers, Rod Lyon.
